This is an "IUD wind chime" that is not made directly from the IUD. It has the surgical tools used to place the IUD on it, and they are generally about 22cm in length. I can't imagine how much pain such a procedure would cause a woman. The inspiration for the chimes came from my mom. Two years ago, I was talking to my mom and learned that she had an IUD in her body. I thought it was far away, but I never realized that it was actually happening right next to me. In fact, my mom sometimes didn't want to talk about it, but it was a pain that women of that era shared but never talked about. Today, more than 30 years after the IUD policy, Chinese women have gradually awakened to their feminist rights and have begun to defend their own rights and interests and challenge the male-dominated society. This history is constantly being brought up and seen as women's challenge to a male-dominated society. Women's voices deserve to be heard, seen and spread like wind chimes.
